Waow dude, you’re never gonna stop to surprise me.
Fantastic, but now I’ve got few questions, are you the one who did those stills?
It means that we all can watch the movie?
Are you the one who runs this site? .
Cheers mate, keep on that way for our own good, haha.
Thanks so much. ” title=”Wink” />September 18, 2008 at 5:29 pm #2595
I have an original copy imported from USA via Amazon, I suggest you to buy the film! The problem is that here in Spain you won’t be able to watch it in a conventional DVD player because the DVD Regions fuc*ing DRM. After you buy it, you need to rip it on linux (windows can’t do that “legally” and Mac offers only 5 changes of region on the computer’s life “legally” ) . But’ that’s the only way.
Anyway, the film is “on the P2P networks” and even for direct download in many places. I won’t publish the links, sorry, but just looking on mininova.org or even google (try [i:2w8sq6r2]“Foreign exchange” releaselog[/i:2w8sq6r2]), for example, it’s not very hard to find. The Spanish subtitles are here: [url:2w8sq6r2]http://www.solosubtitulos.com/descargar-subtitulos/p24245.html[/url:2w8sq6r2], and are included on the original DVD too.
An the site is ran by Stavrogin, I only do “a few contributions” ” title=”Wink” />September 19, 2008 at 12:16 pm #2596
I never figured that watching an original copy of a movie could be as much of an odyssey, .
Thanks for the explanation and for those “few contributions” of yours Smalleye.
About Stavrogin I was just kidding though I didn’t know the answer, anyway I have to pay my respects to her/him. ” title=”Wink” />September 20, 2008 at 2:47 pm #2597
the disc is region 1 so u need either a R1 or Multi-region playerSeptember 21, 2008 at 5:07 am #2598
I’ve converted a couple of DVD player’s region codes to multi-region. On one player, it was a simple command on the remote control, on another, I had to load new firmware onto it. Just search for your specific DVD player’s model online and you can probably find the way to do it.
If you are watching DVDs on your PC then I think the best solution is software. I had a copy of this and it worked well. [url:emqkfdg9]http://www.dvdidle.com/dvd-region-free.htm[/url:emqkfdg9]September 21, 2008 at 3:44 pm #2599
Thanks to everybody, I don’t know when but sooner or later I’ll need this info, and even if I don’t, I love learning new things.
Cheers mates.September 22, 2008 at 5:44 pm #2600
Anyway, if you have seen the film yet, I need to say: Brazilian? WTF? ” title=”Razz” /> (Finally she plays Anita Duarte from Brazil, and as every movie of this genre, there is a girl “clever, “not easy” and who believes in love”, and luckly it is Tania :p ). The rest of the film it’s as predictible as the other movies. This is the ‘most useful critic’ on IMDb, and I agree with him almost 100%, but I’m lazy to write in English:
[quote:yl40w2ik]Terrible – Tries WAY too hard to be American Pie, 18 September 2008
I want my 80 minutes of life back, this movie tried so hard to be American Pie and pretty much every teen/sex/stoner comedy and ends up failing hard with a lot of unfunny, recycled/stolen jokes. Yes a guy shaves his pubes and suffers the consequences, just like in American Pie. Yes that’s how awful it gets with blatantly trying to be other movies.
The characters were even worse, so blatantly ripped off and supposed to be teenagers but played by a bunch of 20-something year old nobodies who are still trying to get their careers started. There’s the womanizing wild jock (gee sound familiar?) The innocent virgin guy waiting for the right one, the weird dad offering awkward sex advice to his son, the wild guy who wants to change for the right girl, the hot sex-crazed foreign exchange student, the stoner guy, etc etc. I think you already know where this is going.
I liked American Pie, 40 year old virgin, etc, I wasn’t expecting a huge epic plot or anything, just to have a couple laughs, but I can’t laugh at ripped off jokes and characters when it wasn’t even a parody movie, and I can’t even criticize it anymore because I’ve addressed pretty much everything and don’t even think it deserves another paragraph. Don’t even bother renting it. [/quote:yl40w2ik]September 27, 2008 at 2:17 pm #2601
I always think there’s something interesting in every piece of art; movie, book, picture, etc. I don’t think it’s a great movie, of course not, and it’s very simple in fact, even silly some times, but I don’t think that is a waste of time. Especially for us fans of Tania. Anita is a very cute character.
And for us Spanish people, the stupid French guy wears the Spanish soccer team t-shirt at the beginning, and that happened before we won Euro’08, that’s great hahaha.
I’ll see you soon, mates.
